With the development of urban economy, the construction of urban roads has put forward new requirements for lamps and lanterns. Generally speaking, lamps and lanterns are developing in two directions: one is to pay attention to ornamentality; the other is to pay attention to functionality. In urban road lighting, people generally prefer the function of lamps and lanterns. Now let me talk about my views on outdoor lighting.
Classification of outdoor lamps and lanterns
The refinement and classification of outdoor lamps and lanterns is a very vague concept. The popular classification terms in the market should say that there are some misunderstandings in many places. The following is the classification concept of outdoor lamps and lanterns that I put forward again according to my understanding of outdoor lamps and lanterns in teaching and work.
Specifically divided into: street lamp, pedestrian and courtyard lamp, high pole lamp, low position (lawn) lamp, projection lamp (floodlight, small projection lamp), downlight, buried lamp, wall lamp, underwater lamp, embedded lamp, optical fiber lighting system, solar lamp, because of the different application places, in the function and landscape side. It's different again.
Problems to be Concerned in the Design of Traffic Lantern
The main function of street lamp is highlighting. The reason why I classify street lamp as street lamp is that it is narrower than street lamp in terms of its location and its target object. Generally speaking, street lamps fixedly determine the coverage of this kind of lamps, but since street lights have been widely used in the world, I intentionally indicate that street lights are street lights at the back, but street lights should be said to more accurately reflect the scope of use of lights and the audience.
There are so many problems of street lamps that we should pay attention to. The manufacturers should also take more consideration in the process of lamp design.
I. Light Cutting Problem
Conventional street lamps are divided into three types according to their light distribution: cut-off, half-cut and non-cut. The maximum intensity direction of cut-off lamps is 0-65 degrees, and the maximum intensity of half-cut lamps is 0-75 degrees. The maximum allowable value of light intensity emitted in the designated angle direction is more than 90 degrees for the cut-off vehicle lane lamp, but 80 degrees for the non-cut-off vehicle lane lamp. The main roads of Expressway and Yingbin Road, the main roads leading to government organs and large public buildings, the roads of city center or commercial center, and large traffic hub are strictly prohibited. Non-light-cut vehicle street lamps shall be used, and non-light-cut vehicle street lamps shall not be used on sub-main road branches, residential roads mainly for pedestrians and non-motor vehicles.
II. Use of Reflectors
In many cities, due to the fixed illumination direction of street lights, some places can not be fully illuminated, and can not achieve the desired lighting effect. There are generally two ways to solve this situation: one is to move the street lamp; the other is to reinstall the street lamp in the needed position. The former will form new illumination blind spot, and the mobile street lamp is more troublesome, involving the line changes, lamps and related supporting transfer. Therefore, urban construction needs a new kind of lamps and lanterns which are more adaptable to the rapid changes of the city. In fact, the solution is very simple. Only a reflector is installed on the street lamp, which can flexibly adjust the function of the reflector and easily send the light to the place where it is needed. There is no need to move the lamp, nor need to buy a new street lamp, and the cost is low. Less, but the effect is equally obvious, and leave more space for the city.
Reflectors are becoming a new bright spot in the application of urban lighting. The change of urban lighting demand puts forward new requirements for outdoor lighting manufacturers, that is, how to innovate to a greater extent to meet this demand. Guzhen enterprises are indeed in the forefront of the world in quantity, but only a manufacturing and marketing center of lighting products. There is a lack of professional accumulation in the development of functional lamps and lanterns that can adapt to urban construction. We hope that Guzhen enterprises will strengthen their efforts in this regard.
Problems in the Design of Walkway and Courtyard Lamp
Walkway and courtyard lamp are actually the combination of two kinds of lamp. The courtyard lamp pays attention to landscape and the street lamp pays attention to function. They could have formed their own system separately, but after consideration, they are still integrated into a series of footpath and courtyard lamp.
The following problems should be paid attention to in the design of the pedestrian courtyard lamp:
1. Walkway courtyard lamp mostly exists in the form of diffuse light. Diffuse light and direct light, unlike diffuse light, do not produce too many shadows, making the color become brighter and darker when they appear softer. However, one of the important problems to be solved for diffuse light-type walkway courtyard lamps is that the surface temperature of the luminous body is too high. As far as the popular street yard lamp is concerned, few products can solve this problem.
2. The calculation of elevation and shoulder distance. The calculation of elevation and shoulder distance can achieve a good balance between the function and landscape function. For example, if the elevation design takes into account the corresponding landscape design, it can better reflect the role of the landscape and meet people's needs in function.
However, the lack of such considerations in the design of lamps and lanterns in our country will inevitably lead to the lack of humanization and difficult to adapt to the environment.
Low Lighting (Point Lawn Lamp Series)
The first thing we need to pay attention to is the innovation of design concept, the second is the humanization and diversity of function. I saw a low-position lamp in Japan. This lamp not only plays the role of lighting and beautifying, but also plays a warning role. It tells passers-by that the front bend is large and there are many people in and out. Drivers and pedestrians should be careful. 。 In order to achieve the unity of various functions and landscape lighting, low-level lamps need to introduce the idea of composite design to achieve functional lighting and landscape as much as possible.
