Since 2002, the World Lighting Designers Summit Forum has been held in Tokyo, Stockholm, Hamburg, New York, Singapore, Copenhagen and Belgrade. Due to the successful hosting of the 2008 Olympic Games, the forum was moved to Beijing for the first time. The theme of this forum is "Green Environment Era, Better Lighting Life". Designers, through the activities of the International Lighting Detective Mission (the International Lighting Detective Mission is a non-profit academic group devoted to the study of lighting culture through the use of methods), travel to Beijing together at night to examine the current situation of urban lighting environment. At the forum, the research results on lighting environment in Beijing were released, practical suggestions were given, and successful international energy-saving lighting design cases were introduced.
Famous Japanese lighting designer Mian Mian said that through his and his research team in Beijing Guozijian, Zhonggulou, Nanluogu Lane ancient block lighting research, they believe that there are many ancient trees in Gujian block, can be presented to tourists through lighting, ancient building lighting should pay attention to the use of anti-dazzling technology. Nanluogu Lane has become an old and fashionable international block, which can be adjusted with warm lights to show its characteristics, instead of the Cold-Tone lighting which is commonly presented by street lamp light sources.
In the forum, the experts gave a new explanation to the public's concerns about green lighting and lighting energy saving. Ms. Ding Ping, president of China Branch of Letting Dissert Lighting Design Co-operative, UK, said: In many people's minds, the understanding of energy-saving lighting is that turning on energy-saving lamps is equivalent to environmental protection and energy-saving, or LED lamps are energy-saving lamps. But in fact, the light and color of energy-saving lamps can not achieve satisfactory color rendering, which brings bad light to family lighting, which directly affects the quality of family life. LED is a developing product, which can not achieve the real purpose of energy saving. The number of installations increases, but the overall power consumption increases. Looking from the city's appearance, the irrational collocation of colorful energy-saving lights not only affects the city's appearance, but also brings a lot of light pollution to drivers and residents. "For the standard of energy-saving and environmental protection of urban lighting, Ding Ping adds: First of all, the use of lighting should conform to its own functional orientation, such as the lighting of ancient buildings should be darker. In addition, less lamp is energy-saving, people are in the state of overuse of light.
According to the director of Yonghe Park Management Committee of Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, the event supporter, green lighting is not only the pursuit of contemporary architecture, but also a new topic facing the urban landscape protection area. This is why the forum address was chosen by the National Supervisor. Dongcheng District is the central city of Beijing with abundant historical resources. In order to protect the style and features of the ancient capital, low-carbon industries will be vigorously developed. Yonghe Park, as the cultural core area of Zhongguancun Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, will step up the construction of the National Ecological Demonstration Park.
On the evening of October 16, the lighting designer at the meeting also had a unique lighting arrangement in the Guozijian ancient building. Among them, 20 goldfish tanks were scattered in the ancient trees and grasses before the ancient building. The LED lamp board was covered on the goldfish tank. Several fish were swimming lightly in the goldfish tank under the light mapping, and the lights showed the swaying of fish and water. Modern lighting technology and creativity make the primitive night of the National Supervisor glow with fashionable charm.
